Or book in for a spa treatment at the Spa@Contiki for the ultimate Bali indulgence!

Discover the amazing cultural diversity of Bali. Ride a bike through the mountains of Ubud, discover the joys of riding an elephant, cook up a storm Balinese style, check out the reef on a day trip or watch the sun set over Kuta Beach while bungee jumping. These are just some of the cool options you can use to put your own stamp on your holiday experience.

Shop-a-holics can get their fix at our resort shop or in the markets and shops around the Seminyak, Legian and Kuta areas of Bali. Most essentials can be bought at the shops and a range of snacks are available at the Beach Club or Contiki Sports Bar.
The choice is yours: get into the Contiki Sports Bar for an ice cold beer or sip on a cocktail at the Beach Club or Lobby Lounge. Alternatively, you might just swim up to Splash, our swim up pool bar; you never have to leave the pool.
When the moon is high and the stars are out, Blue Nightclub opens most nights, it’s the social centre of the resort. Whether you’re busting some moves on the dance floor or just chilling in the lounge, Blue is the place where the nocturnal play.
Or maybe leave the resort and experience the nightlife of Bali.

Do not forget to bring any medications that you may require during your holiday or vacation.

To visit Indonesia you need a valid passport with at least six months of forward validity and you must hold a valid ticket out of Indonesia.
For many countries inlcuding Australia, passport holders who are in possession of a current passport with a minimum of six months validity, may apply for a “visa on arrival.” This visa is paid for and issued on arrival at Denpasar airport. The cost of the visa is dependent upon your length of stay in Indonesia and has to be paid in US dollars or foreign currency equivalent.
Prior to departure you should speak to your travel agent or contact the nearest Indonesian Consulate General Office to confirm visa arrangements relevant to your country.
In addition there is also a departure tax payable at the airport. This is payable in Indonesian rupiah.

We recommend that you carry Cash or Travellers Cheques in small denominations in a foreign currency such as Australian Dollars, UK pounds, Euros or US Dollars. You will need enough money to cover lunches, souvenirs, shopping, drinks, optional activities and excursions, entrance fees to some attractions and some off resort evening entertainment.
ATM machines are available in Bali but using them can be expensive and your Debit / Credit cards needs to be specially set up to access ATM services outside your country of residence.
Nyepi is the first day of the Balinese New Year. It is a day of silence, and on that day people do not speak, cook or walk the streets. There are no flights in and out of Bali. Instead people either journey to nearby island such as Java or Lombok or simply book into a resort for a few days to enjoy some time out.
Please note that all Contiki Resort Bali guests will not be able to leave the Resort on this day and there will be minimal noise levels within the Resort (no music). Nyepi occurs on 19 March in 2007.
